i’ll get back to nostalgia soon but today i want to point out that drag city has reissued 3 oop mid-70s albums from bert jansch, one of my favorite folk dudes. tho jansch is kind of the ultimate individualistic singer/performer type, the track above actually has bass and drums and stuff, resulting in a tune that nods at the so-cal rock of the era while being undeniably a b.j. song. it’s a great song that had me grinning the second it started.
