The Afghan Whigs - “Be Sweet” from Gentlemen (some major label by way of Sub Pop)
“ladies let me tell you about myself / i got a dick for a brain…” and so it goes on one of the best albums ever about being a terrible person. if their name and various greg dulli legends hadn’t put me off for so long this would probably be one of my favorite albums ever. now it’s as much of a tough listen as anything, full of genuinely disturbing stuff that i hope doesn’t speak to you on a personal level. highly recommended despite all that!
